We know our best asset is our people. That’s why we work closely with corporate teams and retailers across our portfolio to help them improve environmental practices such as waste management and energy use. We also support a number of local charities, schools and community organisations each year, encouraging them to make use of our centre facilities and promoting their cause through our marketing channels.
Improving environmental performance and resource efﬁciency
Our Environmental Management System allows us to identify, monitor and manage our environmental performance across our portfolio. We conduct detailed waste and energy audits, which allow us to focus on areas where we can reduce waste, minimise costs and switch to low or renewable energy where feasible. Recent initiatives include a review of lighting, recycling, air conditioning, and environmental initiatives in the local community.
Health and Safety
Maintaining safe and healthy environments
The health, safety and wellbeing of our people, retailers and those who visit our centres is paramount. Our Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System is regularly audited by an independent third party, and we have developed a rolling WHS Plan to reduce risk and maintain high standards of health and safety across the business. We have also completed physical risk assessments across the portfolio, to ensure we continue to improve in this area.

We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our stakeholders through a range of communication channels, whether it’s daily team meetings, unitholder engagement, retailer conferences or events in the local community. We are committed to providing timely, clear and consistent disclosures, and upholding best practices in the areas of Board management and risk governance.
