On behalf of the Directors of Aventus Capital Limited (ACL), the responsible entity of Aventus Retail Property Fund (the Fund), we are pleased to present the Fund’s annual report, including the audited financial statements, for the year ended 30 June 2018.

This has been a very exciting year for the Fund with the completion, subsequent to balance date, of the internalisation, resulting in the creation of the Aventus Group (Aventus or Group) through the acquisition of Aventus Property Group Pty Ltd (APG) on 1 October 2018.

From the time that the Fund became a listed entity in October 2015, it was envisaged that, at a certain size and scale, internalisation would become commercially advantageous. The value of the portfolio has more than doubled in that time to $1.9 billion and internalisation will now support the next stage of growth.
